Hi! My name is Annelie, pronounced (anna-lee) and I am an on-location, creative lifestyle photographer based in Portland, Oregon.
My style is to utilize unique elements and texture to create standout photographs that capture life as it is at that moment, more than just a memory, I love that photography creates a document that captures that particular time. Drawing upon inspiration from nature, fashion, my childhood, travels, culture, history, and art; I have always been one who loves pictures, never one good with words (this has taken me about 2 hours to write), always someone who has been a visual learner and inspired by the creativity art provides.
As someone who craves adventure, seeks change, and loves meeting new people, I have most recently settled in Portland, Oregon with my husband, after having spent the last 10 years living across Canada, Australia and Japan. Graduating from Trinity Western University in British Columbia, Canada in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in business, I have spent the past several years working in the accounting/marketing business arena, and have most recently felt an urge to pursue a more creative business venture that would be an outlet for my artistic side.
When I’m not behind the camera you could find me: at my day job- I sit at a desk during the day, photography is my creative outlet 
, drinking a Starbucks coffee with pumpkin flavoring (white chocolate when pumpkin is not in season), scowering garage sales for vintage finds, hanging out with my family, our family dog- Walter & my cat Fred, or at the gym- I love TKB!
